Salary:JNC range 1 Points 3 to 6

Status:Fixed term post for the period of the project - until 28th February 2013
Hours: 20 hours per week, paid all year round
Working with Rivington and Blackrod High School, the post holder will provide young people in Horwich and Blackrod with information, advice and guidance to access social education provision. The post holder will provide a link between Rivington and Blackrod High School and the 5-19’s Children’s Service to foster a positive relationship and ensure that children are fully aware of opportunities for social engagement. Working directly with young people, the post holder will be required to deliver structured curriculum programmes in collaboration with others to foster integrated community provision.
The successful candidate should hold NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and should have experience of youth work. They will help to develop projects, maintain records and submit reports as required.
